--2 Samuel--

And it came to pass after this, that David inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the Lord said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron. (2:1)

So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal's wife the Carmelite. (2:2)

And his men that [were] with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron. (2:3)

And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, [That] the men of Jabeshgilead [were they] that buried Saul. (2:4)

And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months. (2:11)

In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah. (5:5)

--1 Kings--

And the days that David reigned over Israel [were] forty years: seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem. (2:11)

--1 Chronicles--

[These] six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years. (3:4)

Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we [are] thy bone and thy flesh. (11:1)

And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou [wast] he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the Lord thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel. (11:2)

Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the Lord; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the Lord by Samuel. (11:3)
